Chic Categories: Best Dressed at the 2016 Golden Globes

Awards Season is officially here and the Golden Globes red carpet had an array of gorgeous looks. Just as there was a winner in each of the many award categories, there was a best-dressed stunner for virtually every style, from romantic to retro.

Bold: Amy Adams' chose a red dress with sequin detail from her red-carpet go-to, Versace. The halter neckline with her hair in cascading waves kept the look fresh and young.

Modern: Jaimie Alexander's Genny gown was an unexpectedly chic statement with it's emerald geometric pattern and plunging neckline.

Classic: Emmy Rossum looked every bit the starlet in her crimson Armani column dress. The addition of a stunning diamond wrap necklace modernized the look.

Romantic: Marchesa's etheral white gown was perfect on Lily James who seemed to float down the red carpet. Her shoulder length waves showed off the dramatic draping of the dress.

Retro: Never one to shy from sparkle, Olivia Wilde stunned in an allover sequin burgundy Michael Kors gown. Her hair was parted in the middle and in an uber-low ponytail in the back, allowing for some of the strands to fall forward over her shoulders. With her vintage Bulgari choker and smoky eyes, the vibe was very chic and a little 70's.
